Agents, , importers, GIC affirms its presence

Manufacturer of presses for labels, importer of machines. GIC has been present on the Algerian market since 2010, with steady sales growth. Its leader, Bruno Vitali, alone canvassed local printers for the first eight years. He has now recruited a sales manager for this market. Exports, including the Maghreb, account for a large part, accounting for 15% of its turnover. GIC markets its own machines (a DYXEE configuration IML sold this year to an Algerian printer) as well as the machines of its constituents.

Although he is best known in the world of labels, Bruno Vitali also covers the flexible packaging market. It imports the central drum machines from the manufacturer Multipress. “This Italian company made itself known in its beginnings for its big configurations before changing its positioning”, analyses the manager. The latest machines are more compact, integrate automation and better meet the needs of printers. The Maxiflex range can be equipped with up to 8 groups. It prints on a useful width from 620 to 1020 mm.
